We have the ability to output "Bacher" punched film up to A1+ size. (Maximum film output size 769 mm x 1069 mm)
All our film outputs are colour-managed from the initial digital file stage right through to the film or plate to ensure the utmost accuracy in our colour reproduction. All film and plate outputs are profiled to compensate for dot gain on the printing press.
This process allows you to rest assured that Splitting Image are doing all we can to guarantee the colour accuracy of your print job.
Film outputs are available as either positive or negative, and our high resolution output enables us to obtain a vast range of screen frequencies (lines per inch), FM screening or stochastic screening on request. Our imagesetter is equipped with an on-line processor, and combined with our extended operating hours, can run virtually 24 hours uninterrupted.
