History of Company

Splitting Image has been in operation for 19 years. We commenced business in 1988 as Ross McCartney & Associates and changed our name to Splitting Image Colour Studio after Ross’s retirement in 1995. With an emphasis on producing quality colour, we began as a specialist high end scanning house supplying trade scans to other Pre-Press houses. Currently, we specialise in Pre-Publishing services, with over 75% of our work derived from Publishing (Educational, Trade and Magazine). Recently we moved into our new purpose built studio in the Monash Corporate Centre, Clayton, Victoria.

Personnel & Experience

Splitting Image has always had a philosophy of employing the best staff available and has many long serving employees. We currently employ 22 people and between us have 530 years of trade experience. All personnel at Splitting Image have trade and industry training. We have a commitment to on-going training for staff on industry platforms & applications.
